Implementation status — read this first
The sourcing enquiry form is not yet live. Until this site is deployed to Cloudflare Pages with its database connected, no information is collected through this website at all. The sections below describe how enquiries will be handled once the form goes live — not what is happening today.
The operator's legal identity, contact address, and governing jurisdiction are still to be confirmed (see Pending items below).
What this notice covers
This notice covers information sent through the sourcing enquiry form only. This site uses no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts.
What is collected
When the form is live, each enquiry records what you type into it:
- Required: your name, business email address, country or region, the type of assistance needed, and a description of the requirement — plus your recorded confirmation that you have read this notice.
- Optional: company name, estimated quantity or budget, target price, specifications and reference links, expected timeline, and any additional comments.
- Technical, for spam and duplicate-submission protection: the time the enquiry was received, your browser's user-agent string (truncated to 300 characters), and a salted one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address. The hash cannot be reversed, and the original IP address is never stored.
Why it is collected
- To understand your requirement and reply to your enquiry, including any follow-up sourcing support you request.
- Your information is not sold.
- Submitting the form does not add you to any marketing list.
- Your requirement is not shared with suppliers without your informed consent.
Where it is stored
Once deployed, enquiries will be stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (SQLite, running on Cloudflare's infrastructure). If email notifications are switched on, they will be sent through Resend. Cloudflare and Resend act only as processors on the operator's instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
Current status: the form is not deployed, so no enquiries are being stored anywhere.
How long it is kept
There is no automatic retention or deletion schedule. Enquiries are kept as long as needed to complete the reply or for the duration of a working relationship. Deletion is carried out manually by the operator through the database console.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your enquiry, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Requests are handled manually by the operator — there is no self-service portal. Once the form is live, you can make a request through the enquiry form itself or by replying to the operator's email. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies for advertising or analytics, and the enquiry form does not use cookies to track visitors across visits.
What not to send
Please do not include payment card details, passport or ID document scans, or anything you are not authorised to share.
Changes to this notice
If how enquiries are handled changes, this notice will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
Pending items (not yet confirmed)
The following are deliberately left open and will be filled in before the form goes live:
- The operator's legal entity name and place of registration (the data controller)
- A public privacy contact address
- Whether email notifications will be enabled, and from which sending domain
- Which Cloudflare account and D1 database will store the data
- The specific data protection law(s) that apply
Contact
Until a contact address is published, questions can be raised through the enquiry form once it is live. No email address is listed on this page.
